I have studied these photographs <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And without exception the people were pale <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Really <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yes<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 1947 England was white <\/p>\n\n\n\n
No matter what the malignant academics say <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Were some of the photographs posed <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Obviously <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But there are hundreds of general photographs <\/p>\n\n\n\n
All pale <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even though a war had just finished <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Life was good <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The thing that did strike me <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Was that even during these halcyon days <\/p>\n\n\n\n
That the traitors were hard at work behind the scenes <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Their mistakes still haunt us <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Many people will say that is an unfair view Joe <\/p>\n\n\n\n
That is up to them <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is still a free country <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even though that is now under threat <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Things change <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Do they <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Or is that an illusion <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have always said <\/p>\n\n\n\n
If it is not broken <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This country was broken after the war <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I disagree <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was tired and bruised but it was not broken <\/p>\n\n\n\n
How do you know that <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As you were not there <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But I have spoken to the people who were <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They have always in so many words <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Said the same thing to me <\/p>\n\n\n\n
