So I went through my deaf but not seriously deaf routine <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was then that he revealed a piece of card noting that he was an ex serviceman <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I still pretended to be deaf but saw that he was also deaf <\/p>\n\n\n\n
How did you realise that <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He had some kind of certificate noting his disability <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I gave him a tenner without revealing my theatre <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was very pleased and looked up at the sky in thanks <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And that was that <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He stayed on the bridge and I walked into town cursing my luck <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I heard about this incident I found it very amusing and purchased a book <\/p>\n\n\n\n
