In the last week I have been contacted by a solicitor <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who has informed me that I have been left a shop in Baker Street <\/p>\n\n\n\n
By my uncle who was known as HippyJim Baxter <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He took his own life at the end of last summer <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But nobody missed him as he often returned to Gloucestershire <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was his only know relative removed removed removed <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today Alice and I visited the said shop and the flat above <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Eagles and Doves 1970 had become almost legendary in the rag trade<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although neither of us had never heard of it in any great sense <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This inheritance has set us up for life and Alice can stop teaching <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is too early to say if we we will sell up or make a fist on running the shop <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are planning to move into the Baker Street flat in early March <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As we have tired of living in South London which has totally lost its soul <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Two weeks ago we were totally unaware of our incredible good fortune <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We were stagnating in unhappy jobs and were only planning in weeks <\/p>\n\n\n\n
God has certainly smiled on us and we are beginning to appreciate the light
