Jesse and Jacob were sitting on the old wooden bench in front of the inn<\/p>\n
Jacob was enjoying a soft drink<\/p>\n
Jesse was enjoying a cool glass of white wine<\/p>\n
They had been searching for Jessie\u2019s diamond ring<\/p>\n
Which had been lost in the cornfield on the previous day<\/p>\n
They had not been successful<\/p>\n
Vincent was resting on the trunk of a fallen tree<\/p>\n
He had been painting for most of the day<\/p>\n
A child had attached a plastic fairy on to another tree<\/p>\n
Jessie had added a door<\/p>\n
Jacob had added a falling star<\/p>\n
Vincent was painting the vibrant cornfields in many colours but grew angry when the dogs disturbed the crows<\/p>\n
Jessie and Jacob did not own a dog<\/p>\n
So they were free to watch the circling crows<\/p>\n
Vincent asked whether he might sketch Jessie to kill the time until the crows returned<\/p>\n
He requested that she go through the fairy door and report on the interior world within<\/p>\n
When the crows returned he gave his sketches to Jessie and Jacob and promised to ask the jackdaws about the whereabouts of the missing ring<\/p>\n
