In Southern Germany <\/p>\n\n\n\n
(my day job)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For some reason <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was very cold <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even the locals commented on this <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I could not have chosen a less bleak site<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was a nice hotel but I was lonely <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Were we really on that happy beach <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Only a season ago <\/p>\n\n\n\n
From the title of this message <\/p>\n\n\n\n
You might think that I was consumed <\/p>\n\n\n\n
With lust <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was consumed with lust <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A lust for our time on the beach <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A lust for the thoughtful months <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Are you still spending time <\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the local beaches <\/p>\n\n\n\n
(I follow your temperatures)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is neither warm or cold here <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The vacancy of the grey skies <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Often inhibit my summer thoughts <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sometimes as much as to doubt them <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Please will you send some more photographs <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They bring back such happy memories <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I look forward to seeing you again <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is to be in Paris but nothing is confirmed <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Real life can be so restricting <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But it pays well as because of this I write <\/p>\n\n\n\n
My next book seems so far away <\/p>\n\n\n\n
What I would give to be a full time writer <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have already chosen its title <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Which I will reveal later <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As I might change my mind <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I would enjoy a likeness <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of your tattoo on its cover <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Which I think would encourage sales<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Image going into a station bookshop <\/p>\n\n\n\n
With your remotest part bright on its cover <\/p>\n\n\n\n
What fun that would be <\/p>\n\n\n\n
