Bu then I injured my nose <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It bled a great deal <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I hope it is not broken <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This said we are sailing towards New York<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As I am going to meet a specialist in the city <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Daddy’s first cousin <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who I have not seen <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since my father was lost <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I trust you are well <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of St George in the Fields<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thomas Rickman is one of my favourite architects<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He ranks alongside Pugin<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Daddy was actually connected to a Waterloo church in Bristol <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The sad thing is when I visited Rickman’s tomb in Birmingham <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I found it in a very poor state <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite being designed by Hussey<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The church was lost in the early sixties and the area looked tired <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The detritus of that decaying city was everywhere<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I spent some time with Thomas but all I saw <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Was the human filth black and white <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This was very distressing <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The white trash totally fucked me off <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But I did reason that English blood<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Still passed through their veins <\/p>\n\n\n\n
What what rights did the blacks have to be there <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was a malignant festering stew <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was standing where a beautiful church had once stood<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before foolish men destroyed it <\/p>\n\n\n\n
What the fuck were they thinking <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Just look at the photograph closely <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It illustrates the decay much more than my words <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Poor Thomas was born in rural Berkshire <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But now sleeps in an unholy wasteland <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The wind is getting up now Martha<\/p>\n\n\n\n
