Who has a gamine like appearance and boyish hair <\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the age of seventeen they began a relationship <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Initially they kept this secret living as brother and sister <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Their father was the vicar of a church in Gloucestershire <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Their mother had worked for the BBC before the twins were born <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They spent their childhood years in a nineteenth century vicarage <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both Joe and Josie attended a private school in the county <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And later read English at Cambridge University <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They shared rooms in the city as brother and sister <\/p>\n\n\n\n
After graduating the twins suddenly and without explanation separated<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Josie lived and later taught in Argentina <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Joe stayed in England and published his first book <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Followed by his first volume of poetry <\/p>\n\n\n\n
All before the age of twenty-one<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Apart from visits the siblings were apart for three years <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Josie began an affair with a married American woman<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Joe had a number of girlfriends but nothing serious resulted<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They met again in Lisbon and opened out their lives
