My poetry although read <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Is read in obscurity <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I like it that way <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I crave the obscurity <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I absolutely abhor the critics<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Or those who see themselves as critics<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have never criticised a poem <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is such a vacant occupation <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I would not object if it was said <\/p>\n\n\n\n
That I was not a poet <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Indeed it is hard to think of myself as a poet <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I Dream I Write I Hide <\/p>\n\n\n\n
What does it feel like <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To be a poet <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Do I have a green skin or prominent eyes<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I do not even own a pen<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have a style because I have no style <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I do not understand the secrecy of my many inks <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is a peculiar way to go about ones business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I live alone in a house on Acorn Street with my cat <\/p>\n\n\n\n
