When the snow falls from the colourless skies<\/p>\n
I think of you at the beach caf\u00e9<\/p>\n
On the pathway to the dunes<\/p>\n
You are naked under your thin dress<\/p>\n
As you have just returned from a swim<\/p>\n
We are sharing a pizza and a beer<\/p>\n
And are listening to a gentle couple<\/p>\n
Whose language we do not understand<\/p>\n
Within the hour we will be back on our mats<\/p>\n
Resting and watching the capricious sun<\/p>\n
As it warms our bare flesh<\/p>\n

Small coloured flags can be seen amongst the distant dunes<\/p>\n
We are not alone<\/p>\n
Others who have tired of the winters chill<\/p>\n
Are sharing our day<\/p>\n
We cannot see them<\/p>\n
But know they are there<\/p>\n
We will greet them at the complex<\/p>\n
With knowing smiles<\/p>\n
As we take our final stroll<\/p>\n
In the hours before we sleep<\/p>\n
