Zoe left it here when she moved out <\/p>\n\n\n\n
For a while the bird was quite down <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But it slowly became used to me<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And now we are quite inseparable <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I used to get the tube to work <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But now fly to the city<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With my pet each day<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the evenings when I return home <\/p>\n\n\n\n
My dinner awaits me on the table <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We read the papers together <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And discuss the news <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before we go to the seed church <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To say our evening prayers <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of late my ex has been hanging around <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I think that she wants to get back together <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We were rather happy once <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But not as happy as I am now <\/p>\n\n\n\n
