A small plaque explained <\/p>\n\n\n\n
That her name was June Rodgers <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And that five years before my visit <\/p>\n\n\n\n
She had returned to Ropley Marks <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To unveil her statue and meet others<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who had been evacuated to the village <\/p>\n\n\n\n
During those turbulent but memorable years
