Who offered to illustrate <\/p>\n\n\n\n
My latest book of poems<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Which was called <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Blood Orange and Rhododendrons<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He lived in Chiswick with Mina <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who I had never met <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although I knew she was Maltese <\/p>\n\n\n\n
When I arrived I surprised to see <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A number of life studies of his partner <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hung in different rooms around the flat<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Many were drawn using charcoal <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Which he kept in small glass jars<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On various wooden shelves <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mina was also an artist and her drawings <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Littered nearly every surface <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As if disposed of without thought <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I openly noted my admiration of the works <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And Clive kindly gifted me a life sketch of Mina <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Which was erotic without being provocative <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have since had it framed and have hung it <\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the wall of my study come bedroom <\/p>\n\n\n\n
