Karin and I visited New Mexico <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As I was working on my Weston book <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I had been researching Tina Modotti <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But Karin suggested Charis Wilson<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Which presented difficulties <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As Weston’s famous photographs <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Were shot in the Oceano Dunes <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And not the White Sands of New Mexico<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As we were both running on tight schedules <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I decided just to photograph Karin Berger
