He has had his throat cut<\/p>\n
By an assassin<\/p>\n
Who has tipped a white powder into the near water<\/p>\n
He watches as the rats die grotesquely<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The moving waters at their priest like task
\nOf pure ablution round earth’s human shores<\/i><\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
What are you writing John?<\/i><\/p>\n
Another poem I am expanding on an idea <\/i><\/p>\n
But within the hour I must leave you my love <\/i><\/p>\n
As I have important business in Hammersmith <\/i><\/p>\n

Here lies one whose name was writ in water <\/i><\/p>\n
