As August fades the summer seems to be drawing to a close<\/p>\n
But September is a joker who plays with our emotions<\/p>\n
Sometimes she is dull and pretends to be grey and cool<\/p>\n
And then she removes her shirt and joins you on a sunny beach<\/p>\n
Her humour is not always appreciated by the other months<\/p>\n
She is treated like a goofy sister best ignored<\/p>\n
I do not take her very seriously and that is the reason<\/p>\n
That we have remained such good friends<\/p>\n
Her more serious sister is waiting in the next room<\/p>\n
So we will both have to get our acts together quite soon<\/p>\n
