Gardeners are the happiest people in the world<\/em><\/p>\n

Why\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Because they are nearer to God\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

What makes you say that Sully\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

It is quite obvious to me that God has created all gardens be they big or small<\/em><\/p>\n

Both splendid gardens such as those at Versailles and the smallest urban gardens were all created by God\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

So basically you are saying to me that when I am watering the roses that I am nearer to God\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Put simply yes\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Think about it Cat are you ever anything more than happy when you are in the garden\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

I have not given it much thought<\/em><\/p>\n

As you know before I joined the army I was a gardener at St Mars and after that Tottenham House<\/em><\/p>\n

Why did you join the army then\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

I wanted to see the world and work in other gardens\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Did the wars not inhibit that\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

There were no wars\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Anyway I was in the Sussex Gardens Regiment\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

We were not front line troops\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Our mission was to cultivate gardens and bring peace\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

To countries that had not seen peace for a long time<\/em><\/p>\n

And with God’s help it worked\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

You are a good man Sully\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

I wish that I had your faith\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

It is there my friend\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Just spend more time in your garden<\/em><\/p>\n

And you will sense God\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Or walk in his parks and see his disciples at work\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Plant a rose bush in your garden\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

And watch it grow\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
