My neighbours purchased a beautiful puppy for their children today<\/p>\n
This was a huge mistake as the creature will die in about ten years<\/p>\n
Bringing a great deal of grief to their teenage lives<\/p>\n
It is likely to be their first experience of death and this will change them forever<\/p>\n
Better if the puppy is killed by the dustcart before it enters their hearts<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
On Saturday mornings I visit the flower market and am astonished<\/p>\n
That so many men buy flowers for the women in their life<\/p>\n
If I was a woman I would be quite fucked off if my man brought me flowers<\/p>\n
That have been freshly killed and tied with unattractive bands<\/p>\n
With the expectation that I would put them into a glass vase<\/p>\n
And over the next few weeks be expected to watch them decay<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The beauty of the Summer is always followed by the decay of Winter<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I frequently weep<\/p>\n
When I look at ancient photos<\/p>\n
Of beautiful women<\/p>\n
As I am aware<\/p>\n
That their beauty is now dust<\/p>\n
