A hermit named Ellis<\/p>\n

Placed a fiery cross<\/p>\n

In front of his hut<\/p>\n

To detain the hunt<\/p>\n

He looked silently<\/p>\n

At the hunters<\/p>\n

Who bade him farewell<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

On the Eve of Christmas \u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Fair Anne Riddell is detained<\/p>\n

This night with child<\/p>\n

As tradition notes<\/p>\n

She must spend<\/p>\n

The Lords Day<\/p>\n

With her issue<\/p>\n
