We were due to catch a train to Paddington<\/p>\n

And then you disappeared leaving only a carrier bag of clothes for me to wear<\/p>\n

As I looked for you I was approached by two tourists who were great fans of John Lennon<\/p>\n
\n
They asked me where exactly he died so I pointed to his photograph that was hanging above the main entrance<\/p>\n
\n
I was still wearing my PJS and was looking for somewhere to change when I noticed that all my clothes were tangled together<\/p>\n
\n
The loos were closed for maintenance so I sat on the platform trying to untie my garments<\/p>\n
\n
But my efforts were in vain<\/p>\n
\n
A member of the station staff who looked like Glenn Close asked if I had purchased the newspaper from the bookstall as requested<\/p>\n
\n
I said that I had not received a request to purchase anything at all<\/p>\n
\n
She said I was lying and said that I could not change on the railway platform<\/p>\n
\n
John Lennon is sitting next to me in the waiting room<\/p>\n
\n
