Danny Meadows and Prunella See were sitting on the settee watching a 1970s movie called\u00a0Danny Jones<\/em><\/p>\n

They were not sure what channel they had tuned into<\/p>\n

Life was a haze<\/p>\n

Prunella See was drinking Pepsi Ginger<\/p>\n

After complaining that it was too sweet<\/p>\n

Danny Meadows and Prunella See were walking along the busiest street<\/p>\n

There were six dress shops in this street<\/p>\n

All the dresses displayed were of a floral design<\/p>\n

\n

Due to a sensitive eye condition Prunella See always wore black sunglasses when the sun was strong<\/p>\n

Many thought that she looked like Juliette Greco<\/p>\n

She was secretly flattered by the comparison<\/p>\n

\n

Danny Meadows was a green grocer by trade<\/p>\n

He had inherited the businesses from his late father<\/p>\n

The Business was called Danny Meadows & Son<\/p>\n

\n

Prunella See was a freelance journalist writing mainly about food and travel<\/p>\n

When the weather was hot she would work in the nude<\/p>\n

And had photographed her bottom on many occasions<\/p>\n

She used her favourite photograph as her media profile<\/p>\n

Which brought her extra work<\/p>\n

Life was good for Prunella See<\/p>\n

\n

Danny Meadows also designed patterns<\/p>\n

That could be seen on the bunting at county fairs<\/p>\n

His customers were tiring of the usual flags<\/p>\n

So he developed patterns with a Cuban theme<\/p>\n

And was considering designing Cuban patterns on pyjamas<\/p>\n

As a further side-line<\/p>\n

\n

Above their fireplace was a photograph of the legendary Spanish footballer<\/p>\n

Telmo Zarra<\/p>\n

Who scored 332 goals during his career with Athletic Bilbao<\/p>\n

They called their black cat eighty-one to commemorate the number of goals<\/p>\n

Telmo Zarra<\/p>\n

Had scored in the Copa del Rey<\/p>\n

\n

Danny Meadows and Prunella See liked Spanish football so much<\/p>\n

That they purchased two beach huts in Westgate-on-Sea<\/p>\n

And named them Arieta I and Arieta II<\/p>\n

After the famous footballing brothers<\/p>\n

Eneko Arieta and Anton Arieta<\/p>\n

\n

Neither Danny nor Prunella had ever visited Spain<\/p>\n

They could not recall the reason why<\/p>\n
