We all sat in naked<\/p>\n

In the Tibor Tea Rooms<\/p>\n

Eating scones and cream<\/p>\n

Nobody cared as we were artists<\/p>\n

And this poem was but a dream<\/p>\n

Preston 1923<\/b><\/p>\n

On the last tram<\/p>\n

As you sleep<\/p>\n

I search your bag<\/p>\n

For your mourning energy<\/p>\n

Sweet Sad Viola<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Preston 1924<\/b><\/p>\n

I caress the skin<\/p>\n

Of these beautiful monuments<\/p>\n

As I carve their history<\/p>\n

In the shadow of The Great Church<\/p>\n

Listening to the trains pass<\/p>\n
