Not many summers ago<\/p>\n

I saw a beautiful Jewess<\/p>\n

With raven hair and raven eyes<\/p>\n

Weeping by a wooden fence<\/p>\n

I enquired about the source<\/p>\n

And saw that she was loosely shackled<\/p>\n

She told me that her husband had trapped her<\/p>\n

As he was jealous of her considerable beauty<\/p>\n

And did not want her to breathe or simply stray<\/p>\n

I said that no man has the right to possess such beauty<\/p>\n

And ripped the low fence post from the ground<\/p>\n

Covered only by a shepherds cloth<\/p>\n

Nearby at the eastern railway station<\/p>\n

Three men could be seen studying the stars<\/p>\n

As they began their journey through the pilgrims city<\/p>\n
