There are people in this world<\/p>\n
Who see things so clearly<\/p>\n
That it brings them to the edge of madness<\/p>\n
Peter was one of these rare people<\/p>\n
I had the privilege to be called one of his friends<\/p>\n
Which brought me a great deal of pleasure<\/p>\n
But I was still a train wanting to move<\/p>\n
Yet stuck in a tunnel on my own design<\/p>\n
Whereas Peter is a sleek silver express<\/p>\n
Speeding through the ice thoughts of others<\/p>\n
I am not aware if Peter had a relationship with God<\/p>\n
Or whether he was indeed related<\/p>\n
That is not for me to say<\/p>\n
As this in a way is beyond my understanding<\/p>\n
Or exists in fields that I choose not to understand<\/p>\n
At present Peter is sailing the world<\/p>\n
He is sometimes accompanied by a companion<\/p>\n
But more than often travels alone<\/p>\n
We exchange random messages of love<\/p>\n
As friends often do but I have a nagging feeling<\/p>\n
That I will not see him again or hear his voice<\/p>\n
