To take a naked census of vehicles<\/p>\n
Using the southern motorways<\/p>\n
I thought this to be a poor idea<\/p>\n
As I considered that it would cause accidents<\/p>\n
But then I found myself naked in a field<\/p>\n
With two men and two women<\/p>\n
A sixth person whose gender<\/p>\n
I could not determine was sitting in a wheelchair<\/p>\n
On a motorway bridge some distance away<\/p>\n
I had been invited to the plateau<\/p>\n
But had declined as my dream comrades<\/p>\n
Had not been invited<\/p>\n
I have never kissed Voltaire<\/p>\n
I said as I was handed a calculator<\/p>\n
By a passing bee q bee<\/p>\n
We were positioned by a slip road<\/p>\n
And were male female male female<\/p>\n
My census partner came from the east of the country<\/p>\n
And spoke quietly almost disguising her rural accent<\/p>\n
We were hooted by a number of lorries and vans<\/p>\n
But that was all as most considered it to be a poor publicity stunt<\/p>\n
Instead of a naked census of traffic using the new motorways<\/p>\n
I had previously landed a flying saucer on the hard shoulder<\/p>\n
Which I thought would interest the drivers more than our nudity<\/p>\n
The proved to be a masterstroke as it attracted much attention<\/p>\n
And we were able to hide behind a large coca cola hoarding<\/p>\n
Where we continued to count the vehicles passing in both directions<\/p>\n
